Proposal Writing: Recently for example we
prepared a proposal for the Dominican Republic, Ministry of
Tourism.
Environmental Education: Posters, guides,
manuals, signage, brochures for organizations such as Maldives
Ministry of Tourism, Tody Tours, International Ecological
Groups, and Caribbean Tourism Groups.
Environmental Awards Program: Design, management
and judging (managed and judged Green Hotel Awards Programs
in the Caribbean).
Ecotourism: Guideline assessment, promotional
development, product development, working with community organizations
and small businesses in the Caribbean.
Developed a tour circuit in the Dominican Republic focused
on sustainable agricultural farms and a new visitor’s
center in a mountain community.
Recruited and screened international
volunteers for community ecotourism projects and
international community development programs (Costa Rica and
Dominican Republic).
Disaster Preparedness Training and
Consulting: Managed the Caribbean Tourism Hurricane
Preparedness Program. Certified in (CERT) community emergency
response. Consulted Maldives Ministry of Tourism in disaster
training and preparedness.
